The "dragon's curve" incorporates both the building fa�ades and the interior spaces and forms a U-shaped entrance for which the building is named. The curve was created by using a hollow internal wall and a semi-transparent wall board. To create a dynamic effect, Philips Color Kinetics iColor Cove QLX and ColorBlast Powercore fixtures were placed between the two surfaces. The result is an overflow of color that lights both the outside fa�ade and the internal corridor.

Located in the center of the building is an atrium area that is often used for special events. This area contains a ceiling made of seven layers of beautifully crafted perforated laser-cut panels fitted with compact iColor Cove QLX fixtures. During the day, the space combines natural light filtering in with the ambient color-changing light of the LED fixtures. At night, the color-changing light becomes more saturated and fills the space. The LED lighting can also be changed to support the mood of the event taking place below.

LED lighting has helped the new marketing center to become a landmark and to stand out to FLD clients. FLD has also integrated various Philips Color Kinetics fixtures and controllers into their "smart home" showcase to demonstrate lighting and control integration.
